Buying hair extensions can be very challenging, especially when you don’t know where to start. Plus the high cost of hair extensions.
My advice to you:
- Take the time to get to know the vendors or hair extension stores
you are going to buy from.
- Do your homework before investing a lot of money.
- When you buy hair extensions, try to find a supplier that sells Virgin Remy hair - that would be the best choice. Remy hair shouldn’t shed, isn't treated or processed, and is 100% natural meaning all of the
hair cuticles should be in same direction.
- Also, don’t just buy hair from one country, research different countries.
and I have purchased low quality hair extensions a few times.
Believe me, I did my homework before buying and honestly, speaking after purchasing low quality hair, there is not much you can do because it’s hard to spot them.
I have found many vendors. I start communicating with them until I start to build trust in that person.
Then you place an order for the hair piece and next thing you know it’s a bad hair ordeal - so what do you do?
Now you are a bit hesitant and aren't sure you want to contact the vendor.
Because you felt like you had such a good thing going with that Vendor - it’s like a relationship.
The vendor told me her hair extensions were great quality,
"it’s remy virgin hair, unprocessed hair". I trusted the vendor.
I’m telling this story because it’s relevant. In fact, that was my first vendor. However, as much as I didn’t want to tell that vendor she sold me bad hair, I did.
The response from that supplier was -
"Well dear, we make hundreds of hair a day. You probably got a bad piece of hair."
By that time, I knew I wasn’t going to buy from that vendor anymore.
Be smart when you are spending your money. Research, read, ask questions and most of all get the highest quality virgin remy hair.
